component list by product type (materials and components come
from the database). Estimates and costs for each component may
vary for each color and size by exception (applied only where
needed).

Fabric swatches and trim pictures for easy identification, look-up
and substitution, etc. These may be printed or viewed on documents:
cost sheets, cutting slips, material requisitions.

List of operations by production phase (cutting, sewing, etc.),
which will be used for labor costing and plant loading.

development costs by customer, cost-center, reason-code,
fully integrated with financial CAMS financial package. Track
cost such as freight, patter devolvement, etc and produce detailed
reports by cost-center.

tables for the definition of style specifications, measurements
and technical information for sewing and quality control.

These may be specific to a customer (private label) and meet strict
documentation standards.

Full costing with what-if price calculation based
on margin. Several costing formulae for discounts and add-ons
may be defined by customer (private label) and product category.
These will cover currency exchange, duties, freight and brokerage
fees and other factors that affect the margin for imports and
exports. Cost factors are user-defined and can be changed on the
fly for what-if calculations. The price (in currency) and cost
are stored for future reference in production variance, order
processing and sales analysis throughout the CAMS 9I modules,
where applicable

These
stages are defined within the prototype calendar and designated
as production type tasks. These dates are prototype/lot specific
and appear on in-transit reports, P.O. Schedule.
Merchandise Calendar
The
individual prototype’s schedule is merged into the overall group
schedule and Merchandise Calendar where events are flagged and
co-coordinated with other activities. Events such as meetings
for the group review, fashion show, etc. are highlighted. Notes
and dates are displayed under the monthly column where they are
scheduled to occur.
